The Domogik team is proud to announce the next release of its software : Domogik 0.1.0.

Domogik is an open source home automation solution based on the xPL standard protocol.It is provided with eight plugins:

• plcbus : PlcBus support.
• x10_heyu : x10 support via Heyu.
• onewire : 1wire support (DS18B20, DS18S20 and DS2401).
• ipx800 : IPX 800 v1 and v2 relay card support.
• teleinfo : possibility to get the electricity consumption (from French electricity provider).
• mirror : RFID Mir:ror reader support.
• cidmodem : handle of a "caller id" with a modem.
• wol_ping : start computers remotely and ping them

There is a graphical interface that comes with Domogik. It is a web application using the latest standard technologies (HTML5, CSS3) that allows you to control your house using a web browser.

We are also currently developping a version for Android : Domodroid. It is already functional and available on the market.

Domogik has been designed to be modular. So you can easily add a new technology by creating a plugin. You can also create a new interface which will communicate with the core part of Domogik using a REST API.To help you, we wrote a lot of documentation. It is available on the wiki (http://wiki.domogik.org).

About the future versions

* In the next version, Domogik will be released without any plugins. To enable them you will just have to go to the administration panel and choose the ones you wish.  We voluntarily seperate the plugins from the core part to gain in flexibility and speed. The plugins will be hosted in a repository. There will be three kinds of repository: stable, testing, experimental.  You will be able to test the newest plugins by activating the experimental repository.* We are pleased to announce that several contributors joinned our team. They mainly developed (or are currently developing) new plugins: Zibase, Zwave, Android and Iphone notifications, sending of SMS, rfxcom, TTS, tellstick...

* The next version will also provide a really useful feature : scenarii.
